General Monthly Meeting We hold the regular monthly meetings at the at 7:00 PM on the last Thursday of each month. The meetings are open to the public and you are welcome to participate. Our programs include talks by local fly fishing guides and other experts at our monthly membership meetings, as well as fly tying classes, rod building clinics, casting clinics and fishing trips throughout the year. We also hold an annual fund raiser banquet.
Dues for club membership is $25.00 per year and can be paid to the treasurer at the general meeting.
Fly TyingClasses
We hold our fly tying classes on the second and third Thursday, if the month has 4 Thursdays. If the month has 5 Thursdays, they are held on the third and fourth Thursday of the month. All fly tying classes are at St Francis Xavier Church on Metairie Rd. There's nothing better than catching a fish on your own fly creation!

Are the fly tying meetings still being held on the Thursdays listed on the website? If so, what time are the meetings held? What is the cost for attending these meetings if I have no fly tying equipment? I am very interested in attending these meetings.

I just saw on the site that there is a $2.00 charge for the fly tying meetings and there is a $25 membership fee. What does this membership fee cover? Thank you and I hope to attend the meetings.
